Shipping Terms
SHIPPING:
FOR CUSTOMERS WHO USE RECEIVERS:
Please be sure your receiver is made aware of our guidelines. Taking the following steps is imperative as it allows us to better serve you.
- Do Not Refuse Shipments
- Do not refuse shipments even if damage is suspected, as this will delay the claim process.
- Open And Inspect
- Note any visible damage to the driver’s delivery receipt at the time of signing the shipment. If damage is not noted, the claim will be denied. Please do not note “subject to inspection” on the delivery receipt as this is an invalid notation.
- Take Photographs
- Please take clear photos of the damage AND of the packaging. We will not be able to process your repair or replacement without this information.
- Document Damage and/or Shortage with Photos of box(es) and damaged item(s) both close up and in full view to understand where the damage is on item(s).
- If there are MULTIPLE items being reported as damaged, we need individual and a full shot of all items together to verify accuracy in the report.
- Report Damages Within 48 hours
- Claim information can be sent to your Account Manager or [email protected]
- Keep All Packaging
- Keep all boxes and packaging material (inner and outer) until your claim is resolved. Mainly Baskets Home will not be held liable for any repackaging fees that will be incurred due to the original packaging being disposed of.
FOR ALL RESIDENTIAL SHIPMENTS:
RESIDENTIAL GROUND/PARCEL:
$25 Packing & Handling fee will be added to shipping fees.
RESIDENTIAL FREIGHT/LTL:
$125 Freight/LTL fee will be added to shipping fees.
Shipping residential is at a premium rate due to the extra charges assessed by the carrier. Residential freight deliveries require an appointment and a lift gate.
We must have the name and phone number for the paperwork and the contact must be available to set up the appointment and meet the carrier at the designated time.
If no one is on-site for an appointment and the shipment is returned to the terminal, additional charges for storage and re-delivery will be charged. NOTE: This is not a white glove service. The carrier will deliver to the residence’s front porch/door only.
FOR ALL BUSINESS SHIPMENTS WITHOUT A LOADING DOCK:
LIFT-GATE FEE:
$40 Lift Gate fee will be added if a shipping/loading dock is not on-site to unload freight safely.
FOR ALL 3RD PARTY SHIPMENTS:
3RD PARTY GROUND/PARCEL:
$25 Packing & Handling fee
3RD PARTY FREIGHT/LTL:
5% Handling Fee ($95 minimum).
We are happy to prepare your shipment for a 3PL carrier of your choosing. The customer is responsible for scheduling all shipments with their chosen shipping carrier, and sending labels & BOL’s to your Mainly Baskets Home Customer Service rep.
Customers requesting changes to a destination after the order has left our warehouse will be assessed a fee and invoiced accordingly.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES AVAILABLE:
RUSH FEE:
$35 fee – Ships within 3 business days from payment.
Available on in-stock items that are currently in the warehouse.
HOT RUSH FEE:
$75 fee – Ships within 1 business day from payment.
Available on in-stock items that are currently in the warehouse.
This does not include time to process charges or travel time to you. We will do our best to meet your request, but it is not guaranteed. Please contact your Account Representative to submit a request.
INSIDE DELIVERY:
$75 added to shipping fees if requested, for Ground or LTL shipments.
Inside delivery only includes delivery past the threshold of the receiving address.
APPOINTMENT FEE:
$25 is added to shipping fees if an appointment is requested for Ground and LTL shipments.
WHITE GLOVE SERVICE:
White glove service includes inside delivery to your room of choice, unboxing, and debris haul away. Please be aware, if you request WG delivery, any damages must be reported before the driver departs with the boxes for disposal. Please contact your Customer Service Rep for a quote based on your zone.
AIR FREIGHT:
If you have a tight timeline for a project, we do offer Air Freight direct from our factory. This will significantly decrease your lead time from 4 months to approximately 3 months. Quotes are provided upon request.
CANADA ORDERS:
For all Canadian orders, quotes are provided upon request. Please note, if your shipment can ship residential ground an additional $25 fee will be applied. If your shipment is sizeable to ship residential LTL/Freight, a $125 fee will apply.
Please note that brokerage fees, import taxes, and/or duties may be assessed by the shipping carrier and are the responsibility of the customer. Mainly Baskets Home can provide brokerage services upon request for an additional fee.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Mainly Baskets Home is proud to offer international shipping. A Quote can be provided upon request and will be subject to Location/Region and size of order. Please contact your Customer Service Rep to submit a request. Please note that brokerage fees, import taxes, and/or duties are the responsibility of the customer.
ADDITIONAL FEES MAY BE ADDED:
RE-CONSIGNMENT:
$95 fee is added to shipping fees if the shipping address needs to be adjusted after the shipment has left our MBH dock and is already with a carrier.
If the shipment has already been delivered, to a different address and MBH gets rebilled after delivery, a charge of $125 will be charged on an additional invoice.
LIMITED ACCESS:
$95 fee added to shipping fees for limited access deliveries can include but is not limited to: Airports, Rural Areas, Schools, hospitals, any area with security clearance/inspections, Outdoor Flea Markets, Restaurants, Hotels, Retirement/Nursing Homes, Country Clubs and many more.
REDELIVERY/DRY RUN:
$125 fee charged on additional invoice If a delivery appointment has been set through the carrier, with the shipper/receiver, and the carrier attempts delivery on the correct date and time discussed, and no one is available to receive the shipment.
REFUSED SHIPMENTS:
25% restocking charge and all freight charges both ways.
