Rattan and seagrass are natural materials suitable for indoor use or outdoor use in covered areas, including open-air and screened porches. They are not intended for full outdoor exposure or direct exposure to rain and other elements.
Due to the natural character of these materials, small grass-like fibers may occasionally protrude from the weave. Do not pull loose fibers, as this may damage the rattan or seagrass. Instead, carefully trim them with scissors.
When used on a covered porch, natural rattan and seagrass will gradually age and develop a softer, more muted tone. To help preserve the original color and beauty of the material, minimize prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
