The Wicker Pedestal & Urn. As with every Memoire Designª wicker and rattan piece, our Pedestal and Urn were inspired by ancient times. The column pedestal was dreamt up by the ancient Greeks and later widely adopted by the Romans in 2 AD, and the urn shapes that we reference date back to as early as 7000 BC. We debuted our first wicker urn in the 1980s and have reissued it every few years as trends come back around. Each piece is a statement on its own or can be coupled with other Memoire Design styles to further elevate a space. (*Photo shown in natural finish.)

Our frames are made of solid rattan, which is extremely durable and can last for generations if taken care of properly. All items are handwoven, please allow for up to a 1" variance on all pieces. You can add our protective finish to any furniture item. It provides an extra layer of longevity and protection to the rattan.
